PT Inti Indosawit Subur Plants Trees and Cleans Riau Rivers on Royal Golden Eagle (RGE) Founder's Day
UKUI - Asian Agri provides a variety of social services via corporate divisions located in North Sumatra, Riau, and Jambi. This is celebration of the Royal Golden Eagle (RGE)'s 57th anniversary, also known as RGE Founder's Day 2024.
This coincides with the company's 5C concept, which states that a company's existence must help the community, country, climate, consumers, and country. PT Inti Indosawit Subur – Kebun Ukui (PT IIS – Ukui) as one of Asian Agri's business units also enlivened RGE Founder's Day, by carrying out tree seedling planting and river cleaning activities in Air Hitam Village, Ukui District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau.
"Today's Founder's Day celebrations are a series of events celebrating RGE's 57th anniversary, with the theme Protecting the Environment. As a result, all workers of PT Inti Indosawit Subur - Ukui worked together to plant fruit plant seeds on vacant ground along the river's banks.
"We hope that this activity will provide the benefits of fruit to village residents while also maintaining the condition of the river basin and preventing erosion on the river banks," said Victory Brahmana, Group Manager of PT Inti Indosawit Subur -Ukui.
The Village Consultative Body (BPD) of Air Hitam Village, Dedeng, which participated in the social activity of planting tree seedlings and cleaning the river, praised PT Inti Indosawit Subur - Ukui for its Founder's Day activities.
“We would like to thank PT IIS - Ukui for planting fruit tree seedlings today on our village's riverside. We will look after and care for these plants so that all of our hopes can be fulfilled, namely a beautiful environment and one day we will harvest the fruit," according to Dedeng.
"We also congratulate the company, on the 57th anniversary of Founder's Day, we hope that the company will become stronger, progress and develop. We are sure that with a company that advances, we will feel a positive impact," he continued.
Aside from river cleaning and tree planting, all Asian Agri business units engage in a variety of different operations across many operating regions. For example, free health checkups, instruction for schoolchildren about avoiding forest and land fires, and cleaning beaches in Jakarta.
