PEKANBARU – Afterwards Raja Hendra Saputra's arrest for alleged criminal acts of corruption, the Pekanbaru City Government immediately appointed a temporary replacement as Head of the Pekanbaru City Communication and Information Service to ensure the smooth operation of the Regional Apparatus Organization.

Maisisco, who is now Head of the Pekanbaru City Food Security Service, has been named Daily Acting Head of the Pekanbaru City Communication and Information Service.

This appointment was made after the imprisonment of the former Head of the Communications and Information Service, who was involved in a corruption investigation involving content management and public communication media planning.

The Mayor of Pekanbaru, Roni Rakhmat, explained that Maisisco will serve as Daily Executor until there is a legal decision with permanent force (inkrah).”Dia akan menjadi Pelaksana Harian sampai inkrah putusan,” ujar Roni Rakhmat, Jumat (10/1/2025).

Furthermore, Roni hopes that the wheels of government and public services at the Communication and Informatics Service can return to running normally after this adjustment.

“Hopefully after this everything can run well and normally as usual,” he said.
