PEKANBARU - Riau Province Plantation Service has issued the rates for plasma partnership oil palm fresh fruit bunches for the period of 29 January-4 February 2025.

Dr. Defris Hatmaja, Head of the Processing and Marketing Division of the Riau Plantation Service, said that this week's pricing are the same as the previous week's.

“Considering that this week there was no meeting held by the team because it coincided with the Isra Miraj holiday, the price for fresh fruit bunches was applied the same as last week,” Defris Hatmaja remarked on Wednesday, January 29th.

According to Defris, the 9-year-old age group had the most price rise, totaling IDR 3.14/Kg, or a 0.09 percent increase over the previous period.

“So the purchase price of farmers' fresh fruit bunches for the next one week period will increase to IDR 3,465.47/Kg with a shell price of IDR 22.55/Kg,” he said.

In this period, the K index used is the K index for the next 1 month, namely 93.22 percent. The selling price of crude palm oil this week rose by IDR 53.16 and kernel this week fell by IDR 141.77 from last week.

“There are various palm oil plants that do not generate revenue. The team's average pricing for crude palm oil and kernels is based on Minister of Agriculture Regulation number 01 of 2018, Article 8. If it is subject to validation 2, the average KPBN price is applied,” he said.

The average price of PT Kharisma Marketing Bersama Nusantara crude palm oil for this period is IDR 13,922.75 and the KPBN kernel price for this period is IDR 11,210.00.

“This week's price increase is more due to the increase in the price of crude palm oil. Improving price setting governance is a serious effort from all stakeholders supported by the Riau Provincial Government and the Riau High Prosecutor's Office,” he concluded.
